# February 2026 - Traffic

The following updates were released to the Kentik platform for Traffic during February, 2026.

## Features
- **Device downsampling visibility**: New "Downsampling" filter on the Device list plus status indicators warning when a device is being downsampled.
- **New flow status indicator**: Added a distinct indicator for the "Flow Configured, Not Received" state to differentiate it from downsampled flow.
- **Enumerated columns**: Custom enumerated columns now display human-readable string values instead of numeric IDs and can be filtered using string values and pattern matching.
- **Additive dictionary permissions**: Data Explorer now merges chart and filter types from multiple sources (OTT, CDN, base) based on permissions.
- **Traffic cost permissions**: Traffic cost slicing options in the Traffic Costs view are now restricted based on user permissions.

## Bug Fixes
- **Custom dimension values**: Fixed missing values for custom dimensions in query results by updating the tagging client.
- **kmetrics filtering**: Removed a vestigial device-name clause that prevented results when filtering kmetrics by device name.
- **Sample rate accuracy**: Fixed flow sample rate rounding so small data blips no longer mark flows as "Downsampled".
