What: All versions and deployment methods of Kentik’s kproxy software agent are deprecated.
When: May 1, 2027.
How: Kentik will no longer provide releases, bug fixes, or improvements to kproxy.
Why: kproxy is replaced with capabilities of Kentik’s Universal Agent and a successor is being developed that will further improve manageability. For step-by-step migration instructions, see Migrate from Kproxy to Universal Agent.
