About Kentik AI Settings
The settings page for Kentik AI is accessible only to users whose role includes Super Administrator privileges (see About Users). Super Administrators can reach the page from the Kentik AI item on the portal navbar's Organization Settings drop-down. The function of the page is to allow these users to turn all aspects of Kentik AI on or off for the entire organization (see Customer Control of AI).
Kentik AI Settings UI
The settings page for Kentik AI includes the following UI elements:
- Enable Kentik AI: A switch that turns Kentik AI on or off for your organization.
- Learn more: A set of panes that enable access to information about a Kentik feature that uses Kentik AI. Click the button in a pane to open (in a new browser tab) an article in this KB that corresponds to that feature:
- Query Assistant: Create queries by asking natural language questions about your network telemetry and infrastructure.
- Journeys: Accelerate troubleshooting and analysis with conversational AI contextually aware of your network. - Coming soon: A set of panes that each represent a soon-to-be-available Kentik feature that uses Kentik AI:
- Probable Cause Analysis: Find the most contributing factors for sudden traffic changes, spikes, or drops.
- AI Enhanced Insights: Get enhanced Kentik Insights with new AI-driven analysis.
- Summaries: See simple breakdowns of complex network issues. - Detailed Information: A set of expandable/collapsible panes whose content explains various aspects of Kentik AI.
Manage Kentik AI
To set all aspects of Kentik AI, including Journeys and Query Assistant, to either disabled (default) or enabled for your entire organization:
- In the Kentik portal, choose Kentik AI from the Organization Settings menu.
Note: This item is present only for users with Super Administrator privileges. - On the Kentik AI settings page:
- If the Enable Kentik AI switch is off, you can enable Kentik AI by turning the switch on.
- If the Enable Kentik AI switch is on, you can disable Kentik AI by turning the switch off.
